About Me

I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology at Yale University, working in the Nachtergaele Lab on RNA epitranscriptomics in glioblastoma. My research focuses on how RNA modifications such as m6A, m6Am, and m7G regulate tumor progression, therapy response, and metabolite-driven signaling.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Chemistry & Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma (defended August 25, 2025), where I investigated multidrug efflux pumps and the molecular mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in Gram-negative bacteria, integrating biochemical, biophysical, and computational approaches.

Outside the lab, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and sharing my journey as an international scientist moving from Bangladesh to Oklahoma and now to New Haven.
